Study On The Application Of Regional Cultural In Landscape Architecture

In recent years, people living environment have been largely improved and domestic landscape architecture have made great accomplishment. However, domestic landscape architecture contains abundant problems like westernization,duplication, conceptualization and drawing etc, and lose regional features obviously. Therefore, it is urgent to study on regional culture features in landscape architecture.This essay aims at the losing regional features problem at present, putting the regional feature elements as study object. It generalizes architectural ways of culture with landscape regional features by researching theory and interpreting excellent cases at home and abroad, analyzing landscape cultural elements in all ways and combining semiotics theory. It collects, collates and refines regional cultural material, and then uses metonymy, adaptation and innovative approach converting regional culture material to semiotics design, and finally the design symbols are applied directly or indirectly in the performance of landscape design. The essay has further research of the methods' utility with practical landscape projects, expecting to have some regional culture instruction on the future performance of landscape architecture.
