Urban greenways are gradually becoming the main carrier to promote the green lifestyle of urban residents and lead the trend of green and healthy fashion.Facing the current situation of “thousands of cities are the same”,each city is increasingly emphasizing the embodiment of its regional cultural characteristics.However,as an important part of urban landscape,greenways are facing the problems of unprominent urban regional cultural expression and uniform design expression.qualitative and other issues.Improving the regional culture of the greenway landscape includes urban residents’ demands for regional cultural identity and emotional belonging,as well as their expectations for improving the living environment.As an analytical science,semiotics has been widely used in many fields and disciplines,which provides us with a new perspective for examining greenway design.Therefore,this paper uses semiotics theory to conduct empirical research,re-examines the expression of cultural design in urban greenway landscape,aims to explore the regional cultural presentation of urban greenway landscape,and provides a theory for solving the homogeneity problem of current greenway landscape construction ideas and design strategies.First of all,it analyzes the correlation between semiotic theory and regional cultural expression of greenway landscape,and sorts out the semiotic theory of greenway landscape space presentation,forming a complete theoretical framework of greenway landscape syntax,semantics,and pragmatics: The composition analysis of greenway landscape elements;the use of semantics to explore the connotation and extension of the greenway symbol system;the use of pragmatics to analyze the relationship between the greenway symbol system and tourists;the landscape symbol as a greenway landscape area The carrier of cultural communication explores the specific application and design language of landscape symbols in the regional cultural expression of urban greenways.Secondly,carry out empirical research based on the above theoretical research foundation:select Chengdu Wenjiang South City Greenway as a sample site to conduct field research,use the research framework of semiotics theory,and conduct in the order of“pragmatics-syntax-semantics” Deconstruction analysis.And according to the theory of semiotics,the evaluation index system is constructed,and the regional cultural communication effect of the greenway landscape symbols is evaluated and studied from the perspective of tourists’ perception.Using the Likert scale questionnaire combined with SPSS linear regression analysis,the following conclusions are drawn: 1)The overall effect of regional cultural symbols on the greenway in Wenjiang Greenway is average;2)The factors that affect the effect of landscape symbols on regional cultural communication are in order of magnitude: symbols and overall Environmental coordination,the degree of attraction of symbolic forms,and the degree of prior understanding of symbolic culture.Thirdly,based on the results of field research and combined with semiotics-related theories,the strategy of regional cultural expression of Wenjiang Greenway landscape is constructed:the overall coordination strategy,the strategy of respecting the regional context,and the strategy of creating regional cultural symbols.And summed up the application principles of greenway landscape cultural symbols: the principle of overall and partial coordination,the principle of respecting the regional context,the principle of unity of form and function.Finally,using the regional cultural expression strategy obtained from the research,the design practice of the regional cultural expression of the Wenjiang Greenway landscape is presented,and a detailed plan for the greenway landscape design based on semiotics theory is presented.This article explores the regional cultural expression mode and strategy of urban greenways from the perspective of semiotics.At the same time,it also has positive significance in meeting the regional cultural emotional identity needs of urban residents. |
