Large Amusemwnt Equipment's NDT On AE And Safety Assessment On Ansys

The large amusement equipment's been developing fast since the 21st century, the characteristic of it is "higher,faster,more excite".Many giant wheels have been built round the word, e.g., the London's eye in London, Nan Chang's star in Nan Chang and the 208 meters' high Chao Tian's wheel in Beijing.It needs more design ability and test method for the giant wheel.The prospect and feasibility of the new technology way and new test method is studied in this paper.Base on the normal mechanics, the steel structure of the giant wheel's calculated with the ANSYS and tested with the stress test.When the disfigurements exist ,special the key part of the giant wheel ,such as the axis have the crack ,it need on-line inspecting with the AE ,then assessing for safety.
