| The performance of preventing lightning strike is improved after applying above techniques to 220kV transmission line of our province.Along with the expansion of power grid, grid accidents caused by lightning strike are increasing, effective measures should be taken to reduce grid accidents that are caused by lightning strike.One of the most effective technical measures to reduce the trip rate of the transmission line is the application of the line metal oxide arrester (MOA). If we look at the operation status of the MOA installed in 220kV transmission line in the past, we could find that we are still at a stage of study and learning. Having no effective theoretical basis and no proven solutions yet, we found many problems to be solved.Choosing typical area and typical tower and pole in Anhui Province, making theoretical calculation and analysis using mathematical model, exercising relative experiments, the paper introduces reasonable installation method of MOA, gives theoretical basis for MOA selection on site, and suggests the experimenting and testing cycle time of MOA.Recent operation practice has shown that anti-lightning effectiveness of 220kV transmission line in our province is greatly improved after using such mentioned technology. |
