| Li-Fen housing is the most representative housing in Wuhan. Now, because business redevelopment, some Li-Fen housing are removed. And because of lack of maintenance, some Li-Fen housing is more and more declined. A study on renewal method of Li-Fen housing is urgent task that we are facing.Li-Fen housing has had a hundred years of history. During this period, residents have not stopped redevelopment on the building. Residents' spontaneous renewal caused varying degrees of damage on form of historic view, and negative impact on the future renewal work. The spontaneous renewal is worthless in the eyes of many people. But, when it has been a common phenomenon, we have to attention to it. And we should In-depth study on it's worth and reasonable.Residents' spontaneous renewal truly reflects the reality of life needs of residents. To a certain extent, it reflects the changing social economical and cultural development. We can draw lessons of valuable ways from it.
