The joint is the key position area which connect beam and column, and is the most essential position in the structural design, strengthens the joint area has the pivotal function to enhance the structure's integrity, security as well as the earthquake resistance ductility. Although the steel-concrete composite beam and the continuously compound spiral hoop reinforced concrete column respectively has the unique characteristic, this structure system need thorough research, and the bearing shear capacity of the joint of this structure system also not to have the explicit stipulation in the existing domestic. So the further development of this structure system has been limited in a certain degree. Therefore it is extremely need to conduct the further research to the joint of composite beam and continuously compound spiral hoop reinforced concrete column.The stress is very convenient to transfer, when steel beam's flange pass through the core of the joint. Taking into account the top and the bottom flange of the steel beam is in the core of the joint, when pouring concrete, there may be gaps or secretion of water in the flange surface, difficult to ensure that the quality of concrete pouring. This text design the bar passing force's joint and flange weakened joint in order to improve the quality of concrete pouring in the core of joint. The design of the bar passing force's joint of steel-concrete composite beam and continuously compound spiral hoop reinforced concrete column is based on the previous text, the weakened joint of steel-concrete composite beam and continuously compound spiral hoop reinforced concrete column is bold innovation and is put forward for the first time in our country. The flange is weakened and reinforced partly in the core of the joint.This text designs the model of the two kinds of this system's joint. And then uses the large-scale general analysis software ANSYS procedure, considering the contact problem of the endplate and concrete column surface and material nonlinear of concrete, steel and bar to analyze the stress transfer mechanism and failure pattern, the stress distributing, the cracks, the bearing shear capacity in joint by the rational element meshing, under cyclic load imposed on the top of the column. Moreover analyzes the concrete strength, the thickness of steel plate hoop's influences on the joint's seismic behavior. Finally provides the formula to calculate the bearing shear capacity of the joint and the advice on design based on the results of the finite element analysis. The result of this text could provide some beneficial references for this structure system joint design and the specification formulation.
