Based on the test data of eighteen light-weight aggregate concrete shear walls by Tai Yuan University of Technology, distortion behavior, shear strength and seismic behavior of light-weight aggregate concrete shear walls are fully analyzed. Simulation tests of six medium-height shear walls of three floors are made by using nonlinear finite element program simulate and are made well. Based on the results, every effect factors of shear strength and ductility of shear walls are analyzed and the effect of horizontal beam are fully analyzed. Finally, the formulas for the shear capacity are proposed.
