Electric load modeling is an important basic research problem in power system analysis. Component-based approach and Measurement-based approach are two most basic and important methods of load modeling. In Component-based approach, investigation and statistics of load composing characteristics are very important basic works. Traditional ways and means of survey and statistics are unadvanced and cost lots of time and manpower but can not ensure precise datum, as a result to block development and engineering implement of load modeling based on component.Roundly researching and developing a set of supporting system for technologies of load modeling based on component, especially providing advanced and effective means for investigation and statistics of load composing characteristics are a very important and exigent work in current loading modeling research. The main content of this paper is the research and development of system supports technologies of load modeling based on component. The points of this article focus following four aspects: firstly, the author designs and develops a set of information integration platform of electric power load composition characteristics based on wide information internet, because traditional methods of the survey of electric power load composition characteristics are too complicated and time-spent to apply easily in load modeling engineering. This platform can not only completely take place of traditional manpower-sports ways to survey, but also can reduce workers'burdens in high degree. Consequently, easily and effectively finishing outside investigation and management provides stable datum assurance for load modeling based on component. Secondly, author presents structure scheme of load modeling based on component database server and designs, moreover develops a set of relationship database based on interior network of power system enterprise. This database has integral structure and strong expansibility and carries network identity certificate information, load characteristics and load modeling results and so on. Thirdly, to conveniently manage and maintain load modeling based on component database, author designs and develops networking management platform of load modeling database. This platform goes through intranet to access load modeling based on component database server to finish the redeployment of component characteristics parameters and load composing datum, management of load modeling projects and maintenance of client information. Fourthly, author presents and develops a set of networking load modeling platform based on component. Clients can access load modeling based on component database server in the intranet by this platform to finish self-defined load modeling projects. Whole system supports load modeling technologies is based on modularized design idea and relies on systemic theory ways of load static model gotten from statistics reference. In the process of realization, upper platforms are finished by VC++ which is object oriented industrial grade compiling software and Dreamweaver used to compile static webpage and JSP(java server page) used to compile dynamic webpage. Specifically, frame mode based on DLL , Multithreading communication based on Winsock socket , database operation based on ADO of VC++ technologies are applied in the system. Meanwhile Access and SQL Server are used to construct bottom data information base. Load modeling based on component will become practical, maneuverable and networking under this system, theory and its measures faced to engineering are realized efficiently to supply favorable synthesis load model for Digital Simulation of power system.Currently, parts of this system which have been realized are datum integration system of load composing characteristics of dispersive districts based on C/S mode, partial SQL Server database and load modeling platform based on component faces to local computer. Through experimental running debugging, it comes out that they perform stably and are practical. Works of this paper built an advanced supporting system for technologies of load modeling based on component.
