The automotive electronics belongs to a new domain with high technique, high additional value and high growing. It has huge market capability, technological osmosis and industry driving. The sale of the automotive electronics in China were more than 115 billion in 2007, the growth is 33.4%. But the industry of Chinese automotive electronics is still underway. There are many reasons that resulting in our automotive electronic technique dropping behind. But the main reason is that the overseas companies of automotive electronics take much possession of Chinese market. They almost monopolize the kernel technique. Additionally, the development method of Electronic Control Unit (ECU) based on the Embedding technique and the control technology is dropping behind. The traditional development method of control system was dropping behind. All of these bring huge challenge to our automotive electronics. To enhance Chinese automotive electronics and advance its competitiveness, we must do our best in the research of technology and Independent Innovation.Based on the"PCI Bus—Based Automotive Electronic Control System Development Equipment", the paper proposed a new method of software&hardware cooperation development, and researched the platform of software&hardware. It mostly researched on the memory card which is a slave device in the hardware system. The memory module combining with the master module and other slave module made up of the hardware platform of automotive electronic control system develop equipment. The PCI bus and a slave mode interface chip—PCI9052 were introduced in the paper. It generally introduced the method and process of researching memory card which base on the PCI bus, including the hardware circuit design, the memory card testing, the EEPROM configuration, and the driver programming. A solution to the problem of timing matching was presented. The memory module can be made up of embedded system, it also can be used as a data storage system, it works useful in the date transfer and control between each modules.
