LEEP electro-scalpel is a type of cervical disease device. It belongs to the high frequency electro-knife in medical apparatus category. This device utilizes electronic-heat effect to cut or coagulate biology tissue.At present, there is no completely domestic LEEP electro-scalpel system. The imported device has an excellent surgery effect, but it has some disadvantages, such as expensive and high repair rate and long maintenance rate. Therefore, it is significant and important to develop domestic LEEP electro-scalpel which is safe, stable, and competitive in price while has the same surgery effect as the imported one.LEEP electro-scalpel system is mainly composed of hardware circuit and software (firmware) program. The hardware circuit can be divided into analog part and digital part. The analog part mainly includes power source, power control, signal generation, signal modulation, high voltage output control and feedback control circuit. The micro-controller unit (MCU) is the core of the digital part, which still includes keyboard and sound-light notice circuit. The software program, stored in the flash memory of the MCU, is the key to implementing the human-machine interface and the intelligent control of the system.This system has strict safety measures. In the hardware circuit, it adopts electric insolate, leakage current detect, current detect, negative electrode detect while in the software program it introduces power control, software watchdog and sound-light notice to guarantee safety.There is an effective measure to prevent interference in this system. The system, which frequently uses pulse width modulation (PWM), is of high frequency, high voltage and high power. Thus, the system itself is a strong interference source. This study project has, according to the electro magnetic compatibility (EMC) theory, analyzed and consumedly solved the interference problems one by one.The result of surgery effect, comparing to the same kind of imported product, and other relative tests, shows that the functional sample machine designed by this study group, can achieve the anticipant goal.
