Study On Parking Problems Analysis And Strategy In The Main City Of Chongqing

With the development of the city and the consistently rapid increase of people's living standard, the private car become the first choice of people's trip, which result in the sharp increase of the car amount because of the poor transportation facility, especially the parking facility, get behind of the development of the car. The parking supply conflict with the parking demands inside the city, in particular the city center. It influences the dynamic traffic and the people's everyday living. To solve the parking problem is no time to delay.On the basis of summarizing the history and current situation at home and abroad, this paper analyzed the causes of the city's parking problems. Against the main city of Chongqing city Parking status quo and problems , there were a survey on the number of parking spaces and parking type, and analysis result showed that: Chongqing city parking based mainly in indoor parking; the number of urban outdoor parking had little difference ; indoor parking berthed in larger quantities in Yuzhong, Jiangbei, Yubei and Shapingba district. At the same time, it take statistics of China's major large and medium-sized cities in the number of car parking spaces owned and several hundred people who have berths, and the analysis showed that: Chongqing city have 100 berths lower, but cars are owned berths moderate. on the basis of analyzing both at home and abroad mainly large and medium-sized cities in the parking planning, construction and management of the some experience, and regarding Chongqing city, from the setup of institutions, policies and regulations, technical standards to economic levels, it explored analyzing the development of strategies and the countermeasures in the near future and long-term of chongqing.In this paper, the results of the study can be used in Chongqing city and other major cities parking planning and management, and it can be used for reference for the solutions of parking problem in the main city of Chongqing, which have a certain theoretical and practical significance and value.
