Power System Research Of 10,000 Teu Container Vessel

10,000TEU container vessel is one of four recognized high technology ships. Its power system is made up of a lot of machines. It is the basis of sailing safety of the ship and can increase the economic generator of the ship. So it is necessary to research it.In this thesis, the research was carried out based on the performance of the object ship. First, the power of main engine was confirmed according to ship model test data and research report. Then, main engine was selected after the argumentation. Second, the parameter of auxiliary machine was calculated. The sketch of the power system was designed. Finally, the thermal efficiency system was researched. The essential of thermal efficiency system is to improve fuel oil efficiency.The thesis is useful to design full scale ship. At the same time, it can be applied as use for reference to design and optimize power system of other ships. Thermal efficiency system is researched in the thesis. Thus, a new approach is provided to improve fuel oil efficiency and reduce ship working cost.
