At the same time, as the technology continues to progress, the trends of development of the Container vessel are mainly embodied in the double-hull, larger, faster, multi-purpose, life growth, environmental protection and improvement of automation and so on.The Loading Computer has been used in a number of ships, which could ensure ship's strength from the injury, enable the ship with an appropriate stability and trim, and provide fast, scientific calculations and graphics parameters according to the requirements for compiling stowage plans. All of these undoubtedly ensure the safety of the ship and play an important role in improving the economic benefits of the operation of the ship. As for the container ship, the load calculation methods and procedures mainly depend on that from other type of ship's loading computer, but the traditional software development methods for the containers need to further optimize and improve. The main reflected in the following:Due to its large wind area, the stability calculation of the containers involves the static heeling angle corresponding to maximum wind heeling moment; as arrangement of the cargo container complex, result in more difficulty in calculation of longitudinal strength; in the loading and unloading operation, which refer to container slot, model and the types of goods, etc. so the software should be able to identify the way of loading and unloading, container model and location intelligently, and automatically complete the displacement, trim, arm of stability, etc. Compare with other types of ship, container load is required to give BAY Picture and a detailed list of stowage data, and so on.Based on these, the container loading computer development is relatively difficult, the process is rather complex, the development cycle is relatively long, and the workload will be relatively larger. In this paper, the load calculation software is based on the Visual Basic and Microsoft Access database system; take a multi-purpose container ship 618TEU as example to develop, and the loading software has been used.
