| The phenomenon of the urban restructuring and expansion of Guangzhou in the 1990s has attracted attention of scholars. Based on the case studies of Guangzhou, which including the studies of industrial structure,capital flow,floating population and typical urban space, this article illustrates the influence factors of economic,social,political,urban planning and advanced technology upon urban space. Globalization which brings on economic structure reorganization, massive investment for the urban infrastructure, foreign direct investment caused a series of processes that accelerated Guangzhou into the world economic system. Reformation of urban land system and house system advance development of the house market, increase urban land supply. The result of industrial structure adjustment has made the floating population of Guangzhou increase, which caused the increasing of useable-land and investment of infrastructure. Various levels of urban planning powerful regulated the development of urban space, in particular the strategic planning and the comprehension planning that have legal effect has provided the safeguard for the choice and the management of spatial development. In 2000, The adjustment of administrative area of Huadu,Panyu has provided guarantee and channel for development of Guangzhou's urban space. In reforming time, the adjustment of administrative area and the urban planning are two factors, which made the urban space of Guangzhou suddenly changing. The development and popularization of transport technology and network also have provided support and safeguard in the technical for city. But various interest subject (all levels of local authority, multinational corporation, all kinds of property developers, urban planners,resident) impelled the urban spatial structure evolution which pursue and split to the benefit for themselves, they participate and direct the urban space "stage play" together.
