The thesis researches a portable system for dynamic balance and vibration analysis for rotating machine combined wih the idea of virtual instrument for the purpose of realizing a portable foolproof system, according to the needs of filed dynamic balance and vibration analysis. It is an integrated working platform for vibration analysis and dynamic balance experiments of rotating machine including strong abilities such as vibration test, signal anlysis, fault diagnosis, calculation and optimazition of dynamic balancing, frequency measurement for turbine blade, vitual oscillograph et al,which has friendly user interface.First of all, the needs of engineering application are analyzed. The domestic and overseas research and development situation of dynamic balance technology, data acquisition technology, vibration signal processing method and the system for dynamic balance and vibration analysis are summarized. And then, the structure of the thesis is described.Next, the theis researches vibration data acquisition. The characteristic of vibration signal data acquisition for rotating machine is analyzed, an online multi-channel vibration signal data acquisition system based on FIFO for rotating machine is designed. Data acquisition technology based on USB is discussed and a frequency measurement system for turbine blade is realized. Aimed at the limitation of an existing system which was developed in DOS operating system including user interface, signal processing and network et al, the signal processing is optimazed via the using of digital filter and zoom spectrum algorithm. All these works establish the foundation for the research and development of portable system and its further miniaturization .Based on the research mentioned above and the existing system, the portable system for dynamic balance and vibration analysis for rotating machine is developed, which combines the advantages of instrument and online system. Strategy design and structure of the system, main function characteristic, its key technologies and database design are introduced. The function about vibration test and dynamic balance is checked up through experiments. The result of experiments indicates that the portable system which operates conveniently and makes calculation of dynamic balancing follow the prescribed order can help those who has basic knowledge about vibration and balance solve balance problems.Finally, this thesis summarizes the paper, points out unfathomed problems and indicates what should do in the following phase.
