Through comparing the application condition of industrial engineering at home and abroad with the current situation of the author's unit, the thesis reveals the importance as well as urgency of carrying on industrial engineering research in this unit. A variety of industrial engineering methods at home and abroad have been studied for reference, in the hope that the starting point, basic direction and solution can be found out to deal with our own problems.A detailed analysis of various box-component performance parameters lays a foundation for building flexible production line. Through changing the production mode, applying the network plan, and settling the maximum flow problem, control of processing cycle and processing time can be realized. With application of quick-installation technique and error-proofing technique, targets of punctual production and equilibrium production can be realized. And the use of PDCA cycle and maximum value method could realize the goal of improving the production quality and the processing efficiency.The thesis provides a solution to the small-batch production for research and development enterprises, builds flexible production line and resolves the conflict between flexibility and efficiency. The machining production line has been balanced and optimized, and standard production mode has been set up.
