Study On Intelligent Controller For Circuit Breaker Based On Field-bus

In the field of Low-Voltage Control Equipment, circuit breaker is one of important equipments, which ensure the reliability and security of power distribution system.Firstly, the present research state, the development of circuit breaker and the meaning of this research are introduced. Secondly, the conception , the development and the basic characteristics of Fieldbus Control System are presented. The development and the application of CAN Bus are described in detail. According to the requirements of enterprise, the intelligent controller with a rated current of 4000A is successfully finished. Based on CAN Bus, and using DS80C390 with CAN controllers as the microprocessor, the communication between two nodes is implemented. In the design, EMC is highlighted.It shows from the test results that this design is reasonable, innovative, reliable and compact, which has more advanced level in China.
