The theory analysis of the performance parameters and motion laws of the shifting driver bearing is deduced by applying dynamic method, and the simulation analysis and modal analysis are implemented by utilizing ADAMS and ANSYS , respectively. The improvement on the shifting driver bearing is discussed as well.Firstly, structural analysis, kinematic and dynamic analysis are performed on the shifting driver bearing. The dynamic model of the shifting driver bearing has been established. The structure paramenters of the key parts and some formulas about the performance parameters are derived on the basis of the analyses.The results are available for the design and the improvement of the shifting driver bearing.Secondly, the test curves of the dynamic simulation on the shifting driver bearing are obtained by applying the dynamic analysis software ADAMS, with the aid of 3D modeling software Pro/Engineer and Solidworks. The transmission ratio and transmission efficiency are examined through the experiment for transmission properties. It is discovered that the simulation results, the previous analysis results and test results are approached. The correctness and creditability of the simulation are proved.Thirdly, the finite element modal analysis is performed on the shifting driver bearing by ANSYS. The results show that it is necessary to enhance the bending stiffness of the base. It suggests that a zygomorphous tighten rib of base is appended in the improved project. The improved modal analysis shows that the natural characters of the shifting driver bearing are increased in the improved project.In conclusion, the virtual prototype model is established on the theory analysis, and the simulation analysis and modal analysis are performed on the shifting driver bearing. The results are a base for the further dynamic character analysis. The studying methods can be used to the design and improvement of the shifting driver bearing.
