Main work of the paper is analysis anddesign of the two-tooth difference steel ball movable tooth transmission and strengthanalysis of the movable rolling tooth transmission with cam actuating.The paper briefly described the development history, research status at home andabroad, transmission characteristics of the steel ball movable tooth transmission andfew teeth difference planetary gear drive. The tooth profile equations of the closedgrooves on moving and fixed discs are established based on rotational speedconversion and the envelope theory. The main curvature radius formulae of the closedgroove tooth profile on fixed disc are deduced, the design condition of no tooth profileinterference appearance on the closed groove of fixed disc is put forward. On thisbasis, structural parameters and geometric design of the two-tooth difference steel ballmovable tooth transmission are discussed. The comprehensive influence ofparameters, such as the transmission ratio, theoretic half-axis size of the moving discand radius of the steel ball, on tooth profile property of the fixed disc is analyzed, andthe selecting relationship between the values of tooth profile parameters is established.Meanwhile, the calculation formulae of the movable tooth shelf is given according tothe transmission principle and structural characteristics analysis of the tooth shelf.The contact characteristics of the two-tooth difference steel ball movable toothtransmission is studies. In the basis of establish deformation compatibility relations,the caiculation method of the meshing pair force is given based on the hertz contacttheory, meanwhile, a numerical example is given in order to illustrating theeffetiveness of the method. The distributing tendency of meshing force of thetransmission device is assumably acquired, and strength calculation of the meshingpair is conducted reference to the force analysis.Design the structure of the two-tooth difference steel ball movable tooth transmission. On the basis of giving the overall design program, shape of thecross-section structure is analyzed. Virtual assembly and interference test areconducted by Pro/E software based on the three-dimensional physical simulation ofthe parts.The tooth profile equation of the shock wave cam, the center inner gear arederived using of meshing theory and curve equidistant. The three-dimensional modelof the movable rolling tooth transmission with cam actuating is established with thePro/E software. Meanwhile, the model analysis of the strength is carried out by usingthe finite element analysis software ANSYS Workbench to obtain the distribution ofequivalent stress and strain. |
