In order to improve the liner of landfill MSW, the liner of fly ash storage, Tung oil and the sticky rice juice are mixed in clay and silt. In ancient of China, Sticky rice juice and Tung oil are important construction materials. Sticky rice juice is a material of high stickiness and adsorption, and low expansibility and conglomeration, so that it can cement clay grains; Tung oil has many beneficial properties, such as high solidity and adsorption, low stickiness, good resistance to acid, alkali, water, sunlight and atmosphere. Former research indicates that the Mixed soil (clay or silt, Stick rice juice and Tung oil) have the property of lower hydraulic permeability coefficient, higher strength and better adsorption capacity and diffusion capacity to heavy metal ion. That greatly improves the Geotechnical and geoenvironmental property of the Mixed Soil.Further research for the Mixed soil has been done on the base on former results. The Stick rice juice and Tung oil, as the same ratio of the Mixed soil, are mixed to the silt and silty clay in order to improve the physical mechanical property and the geoenvironmental property of the Mixed soil. The working mechanism of soil with Stick rice juice and Tung oil is analysed in the microstructure of clay. The Geotechnical and geoenvironmental property of the Mixed soil are investigated in the following aspects:1. Further research improves the mixed clay sample's preparation process. According to mechanism of Tung oil oxidated surface, the soil sample was made several thinner layer to fully expose in the air, the oil film on surface will be oxidated and dried by the oxygen, hard surface with large quantity of molecule sufficiently indicate Tung oil's property.2. Compared the clay, silt, silty clay with the related Mixed soil's (added Stick rice juice and Tung oil) disappear that the mixed soil's permeability coefficient is lower than that of the original clay by 2 orders of magnitude and the silt and silty clay mixed soil's is lower than the original by 1 order of magnitude. So the mixed soil's permeability improvement effect is best. For the mixed soil permeability test research, the action of filtrate lowers the mixed soil permeability coefficient. It states Tung oil molecule surface is not eroded by all kinds of chemicals in filtrate. So the soil's high molecule surface is enough hard.3. Strength research of the silty clay Mixed soil disappear that added Stick rice juice and Tung oil reduce soil's shearing strength. The result is fully different with the clay's shearing strength. For the strength research of silty clay and the related Mixed soil, the wetting-drying cycle will result in reduce of the silty clay Mixed soil's cohesive strength and friction angle. So under condition of wetting-drying cycle, Strength of the silty clay Mixed soil isn't better than the original soil.4. Adopted no-liner adsorption model and Geoslope Software to analyze transport of pollution, the sandwich liner is presented. The sandwich liner has good effect to impede the pollution.5. By Scanning electronic microscope(SEM) observation, study of the mixed soil's microstructure indicate working mechanism of soil with Stick rice juice and Tung oil. The photos indicate agglomeration took place in the tested soil and large and deep holes formed.
