The importance of China's railways for the comprehensive transportation network is growing. The imbalance of regional economic development and uneven distribution of resources in China determine that such large capacity, low power consumption, all-weather, high-security, environment-friendly mode of transportation will assume more tasks. Especially during the Spring Festival travel season and under bad weather conditions such as rain, snow and fog, the contradictory between transportation and demand will become even more prominent. At this time railway transportation will show a strong vitality."Middle to long term railway plan" identifies expanding the scale of the railway network, improving the structure and quality, expanding transport capacity rapidly, and improving the level of equipment rapidly as development goals. To build a world-class railway network, the advanced, reliable and economical technology should be used in all the aspects of the basis of line track, electrification, communication signals, locomotives, integrated scheduling and operating and maintenance management. So the research on the integrated maintenance skylights in the train operation diagram has great significance.Now the train interval repair is mainly used for railway fixed equipment repair in China. Only on a few particularly busy routes, such as the Qinghai-Tibet line and the Qinhuangdao-Shengyang line, skylight repair is gradually explored and promoted. Yet the system comprehensive maintenance does not take shape. The engineering services, electric services or electricity supply take single professional maintenance, which has a bad influence on transportation safety and efficiency. The implementation that the engineering services, electric services and the electricity supply share skylight comprehensive maintenance is the need for safe control, transport efficiency, consolidating resources and cost reduction. According to the circumstances of the operation of the passenger train lines and the influence of skylight maintenance time on the line passing ability, the time for the comprehensive maintenance skylight of China's high-speed passenger train lines had better be arranged between 0:00 and 6:00. Overnight single rectangular skylights or v-type skylight can meet the requirements of engineering services, catenary and signal integrated maintenance work and can better meet the needs of maintenance work.This article uses the successful experience of the integrated maintenance for high-speed railways in Japan, Germany, France and other developed countries. It focuses on that the fixed equipment of China's passenger train lines takes the skylight integrated maintenance path and that the future management for the maintenance of the China's passenger train lines. Its main contents: Chapter I The necessity of the background research; Chapter II The comprehensive maintenance skylights in railway operation diagrams abroad; Chapter III The existing comprehensive maintenance skylights in railway operation diagrams; Chapter IV The newly built comprehensive maintenance skylights in the passenger train line operation diagrams; Chapter V The implementation of the comprehensive maintenance skylights in the train operation diagrams; Chapter VI Conclusions and the direction of continuous research.
