The Study On The Forming And Development Of Suburban Commercial Center In Shanghai

Under the background of suburbanization, suburban commercial center is one of the main trends on the development of city commercial space in Shanghai. As developing later than the suburbanization of residence, the development of commerce in suburb is always not be taken seriously, and there is also no good experience which can guide the construction of suburban commercial center.Therefore, this thesis intends to sum up the experience on the forming and development of suburban commercial center from some case study.First, in this thesis three basic develop models of suburban commercial center are summarized from the spot investigation in Shanghai suburb. From these models, suburban commercial centers which constructed near the commercial space in old town are considered well.Then, by picking Qibao commercial center and Zhoupu commercial center, which stand for the model, as the cases, the thesis analyzes the develop characteristics in the development background, in the process of forming and development, in the realistic condition and in the develop mode. And it also demonstrates the existing problem in the process of development.Finally, after comparing the develop mode between two cases, the thesis summaries the impact facts on the forming of suburban commercial centre and puts forward several planning suggestion in develop mode.
