Houses for the youth is the small-sized apartment that solves the problem of young people, not only has the interior essential living condition, but also has the exterior necessary equipment for young people.Being the main power of urban construction ,the youth have a strong desire of purchasing house if their economic condition can support .The Youth is the transition period in life .Houses for the youth doesn't become the main trend , but it is the essential supplementary of the housing estate in our county.This article brought forward the instance of building the youth housing residences by the small flat housing residences marketing investigation of Hefei city and the living requirement investigation of the youth citizen of Hefei, which is also considered the modern urban youth's growing environment, psycho characteristic, behavior mode, consumption mode and habitation mode. Thereafter it analyses the location selection, proportion measurement, design characteristic, changeability, flexibility and the supporting facilities of property management for the urban youth inhabitation.Final, the paper argues the five principle of houses for the youth, which are the principles of living nearby, various channel, staged-consume on ,diversified exploit and sustainable .Meanwhile, when we build the house for the youth ,we should pay more attention to the seven aspects which are the better circum stance ,suitable square, small and compact, distinctive character, properly communication, potential design and to build according to actual circumstance.
