The Research On The Significance And Constructions Of The Public Space In High-rise Building Grounding

Since the global urbanisation, the conflict between the dense population and the shortage of construction land arouses the problem of a large demand on housing, the market demand and technical guarantee. The emerging and developing of the high-rise building, in view of the shortage of land and other resources, is the result of pursuing a reasonable and effective utilisation of resources, solving the conflict between living space and environmental demand and maintaining city's sustainable development. It has inevitably become the main form of city dwelling. On the one hand, it greatly alleviates the conflict between land shortage and people's increasing demand on housing, saves city land, leaves some space for activity and improves the crowding and chaos city appearance. On the other hand, it pursues better, healthier, safer, more comfortable and harmonious living environment and community relationship, requesting higher for living environment, with people's increasing demand on a high living quality. The public space of high- rise building grounding is unique because it is the entrance from public space to private space. And the only route to and from house. Meanwhile, it is unique because it is easier to reach and use, comparing with other public spaces in the building. It is used with higher frequency to show the vitality, improve the living condition, provide more convenient and comfortable service, and enrich living activities on higher floor. It has great significance in improving the living environmental quality and dwellers' social value in high-rise building.After investigating and analysing the current high-rise buildings and researching on the related subjects, like ecology, environmental psychology, the thesis draws out the significance and position of the public space of high-rise building grounding to high-rise building's environment and raises 3 innovative theories, hoping to be valuable references to the design and practice. Through discussion on the multi-meaning construction, behavioural psychological space construction, material space construction of the public space of the high-rise building grounding, the thesis stresses on its significance and forms. The thesis is composed of 4 independent yet inter-related parts. The first part is introduction. According to the new standard of China's current high-rise building, the thesis analyses the shortcomings in the current design of the public space of high-rise building grounding and sets the research subject. It points out the significance of the thesis, the research methods and the outline. The 2nd part is comparative analysis and theory building. It first highlights the significance of the living environment of the public space of the high-rise building grounding and locates its functions. It then proceeds to the innovative theory in design and the theoretic basis of the public space of the high-rise building grounding. The 3rd part analyses and researches on the form, based on the first 2 parts. It discusses the multi-meaning construction, behavioural psychological space construction, material space construction, combining real case analysis. The 4th part forecasts the developing trend of the future of high-rise building and the grounding of public space, directing for further research on this subject.The thesis aims to offer a feasible design for a beautiful high-rise building environment, so as to provide a valuable reference for China's future high-rise building design.
