At present, in order to meet the need of wartime electricity provision, the Navy naval ports are equipped with small mobile diesel generators in China. For some old style generator units, interactive power oscillation often occurs during the using process. The reason lies in the interference of the oil supply. For a single unit, the effect of such interference is not obvious so that a single unit can run normally. While for the generator units operating in parallel, it is easy to produce interactive power oscillation between them. In this paper, a single operation unit's model and a two parallel operation unit's model are firstly established by using the Simulink software tools of Matlab. The power oscillation phenomenon can be found through the simulation under the normal conditions and the disturbance of the oil supply respectively. Then acquire the angular velocityωand the electromagnetic power of the generators PE. According to the changes of them, it can be judged the reason for the interactive power oscillation. Then a negative feedback is given to the head of governor , and the"dω/dt"is taken as feedback variable. Finally ,PID control law was adopted to eliminate the power oscillation.
