At present, diesel generator sets are widely used in many fields, such as ships communication and so on. While for the generator units operating in parallel, it is easy to produce interactive power oscillation between them. In this paper, a single operation unit's model and a two parallel operation unit's model are firstly established by using the SIMULINK software tools of MATLAB. The power oscillation phenomenon can be found through the simulation under the normal conditions and the disturbance of the oil supply respectively. Then acquire the changes of the angular velocityω. According to the value of integrator, it can be judged the reason for the interactive power oscillation. Then a negative feedback is given to the head of governor, and then take the feedback variable to eliminate the power oscillation by the PID control law.
