Residentiality is one of basical functions of cities.Shape, facilities and the environment quality have not only reflected the urban development level but also the city civilization, and they are the important symbol of urban construction achievement. The community is organical intergrity that has been moving on its rule on account of human beings and environment.Therefore the idea of "basical human beings,first environment" is the requirement of design of residential zone.The creation comfortable is convenient, kisses with the environment which, lives in contentment, fully satisfies the modern people individuality diversification and life personal status many Yuan demands, causes the people to have one kind of home to return to feeling and the sense of pride is the performance which the city progresses.This thesis research basic mentality is obtains from urban design , studies the community the question, simultaneously, also thecommunity took the city the landscape, took a each one body and thecity unify, lives the area is one of city basic constitutions, its itself is one kind of landscape, but this kind of landscape how well and does the urban environment coordinate, the better terrain present area cultural characteristic, better acting as circumstances permit,seeks local the history context and the inhabitant mode of life, causes the community organically to blend together in the city big environment. Community openness, the individuality, as well as urban design theory in the community application, in the community design technique promotion city layout is the present paper research core question."The Beijing Charter" the center the residential district high density which creates facing the population explosion, the high volume rate,the environment destroys, the air, the water and the land degenerates day by day; The chaotic urbanization causes traffic jam; Theconstruction culture and the civic culture hasten the same phenomenon and the individuality crisis, "what type city will we give and the village next generation?" This thesis altogether divides into four major parts.Part one:Carries on concisely the elaboration and the research to urban design theory and method. Has carried on the exploration to the community and urban design interaction.Part two:To the community theory and the community plan basic principle,populated area facilities , landscape glorify an environment as well as living in area's having assumed detailed analysis and studying.Part three:To Zhengzhou's humanities landscape, the historical culture does by the simple introduction. The development zone design idea and the position have carried on the analysis to Zhengzhou east.Part four:The case analysis is for the purpose of the city layout technique and the theory utilization has in the community design example as well as the community design technique to the city layout the certain significance, and through lives the area the morphological analysis to hold on to the area unifies as the city landscape and the city.
