| Organic Glass Stretching Machine is a special device to stretch glass in bi-direction at some temperature, its craftwork is very complex and demand for control system is very strict. First of all, several computer controlling systems were analyzed and distribute control system (DCS) was conformed. Then architectonic structure, layering structure and the function of DCS were analyzed and discussed. Scheme design for DCS of Organic Glass Stretching machine was made by utilizing the latest theory and technology.A mini-type DCS and software and hardware model were founded by utilizing IPC (Industrial Personal Computer),PLC (Program Logical Computer),Intelligent Instrument,data collecting card, according to the controlling character and theory of contribute management and distribute control. Developing and debugging effect of hardware and software stage for this DCS, layering structure and the function were analyzed. This system has fully utilized being applied or used universally component, and the system has characteristics such as open time nature, satisfied different industry under the control of environment.Composing structure and working principle of DCS of Organic Glass Stretching Machine on this thesis, process of design for supervisory stage and direct controlling stage were introduced. Hardware of this system was chosen, the structure and software mode were designed according to the design scheme. Such method and theory in hardware and software as all kinds of data signal collecting and displaying, communication between IPC and the next one and the control of PLC to the spot equipment in the process of stretching were carried out in detail. In the runnable interface of Windows 2000, the system software was developed by utilizing Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. The whole performance target was satisfied after debugging on spot and the quality and stability of the stretched glass were certified.
