| The CMS of plane is a very important aviation installation, which can be used to register and analyze the flying state, monitor the running status of other equipments and provide the malfunction reports that have been arranged for the maintainers. Display Manager, which controls the data transmission between CMS and Multi-function Display, is an important component of CMS.It's proposed in this paper that XML-RPC can be adopted as the protocol of data transmission between application programs in CMS. As a new kind of data transfer protocol, XML-RPC excels for its simplicity, effectiveness and easy-expansion. This paper first briefly talks about the related field overseas and then introduces XML-RPC in detail, including the concept and characteristic of XML, the principle and process of RPC technology and XML-RPC protocol's concept, format and data transfer mode. Based on these theoretic analyses, this paper introduces the concrete method to doing data transmission, and it also introduces the design and implement of the CMS Display Manager by an example, on top of this, the paper analyses the systematic function and characteristic.Finally, based on above research, the paper proposes the development direction in future. |
