3D display technology is applied to the ship industry to overcome the shortcomings of the traditional display and control system due to the rapid development which has become an important research topic in the field of the ship.The display and control system is an indispensable software system on the ship,it is responsible for displaying the information of equipment,uploading navigation data,controlling ship operation,etc.How to construct an intuitive and convenient display and control system is the focus of current research.In this paper,I propose a novel display and control system based on Ogre3 D.It overcomes the shortcomings of the traditional display and control system,such as bulky,difficult operation,visual display,tedious installation process,etc,which greatly improves the development of display and control software.This novel system consists of four parts: multi-window management module,three-dimensional display module,touch gesture recognition module and communication module.The multi-window management module is responsible for managing multiple windows without overlapping within single screen display,it supports opening,closing,moving,zooming and other operations,improving the disadvantages of large volume and complicated installation process.The 3D display module is responsible for constructing the basic 3D scene,receiving the data for dynamic rendering entity and refreshing it in real time which has optimizes the visual defect of the display.The touch gesture recognition module is responsible for the identification and distribution of multi-touch events.The communication module is responsible for building a virtual server and publishing various data information for each module to subscribe,providing guarantee for inter process communication.Compared with the existing display and control system,the system has the following innovations:it integrates the sub-module of gesture recognition enabling users to operate quickly;multi-window management technology is studied to customize the reorganization of multiple windows which has great expansibility;advanced Shader Language is applied innovatively to optimize the rendering of three-dimensional scenes which have a strong sense of three-dimensional.The new display and control system has the advantages of small size,small hardware resource consumption,stereoscopic visual features,easy operation,easy installation,convenient upgrade,etc,greatly improving the efficiency of crew operation.The experiment results prove that the system has good real-time,stability,interactivity,etc.
