The nonprofessional driver has become the new feature of China traffic situation,which causes that the wok of training nonprofessional driver become necessary. But the metheod of traditional driving training is very stiff and staid,that isn't fit for training a lot of nonprofessional driver in the society of regarding time and efficiency. On the other hand, the oil of using is expensive and the upkeep costs quickly increase with actual vehicle, and so the new drivers improperly operate that the noises and pollution increase.These things are practical and must be solved.The vehicle driving training simulator is an effective facility of driving training.Virtual Reality is a kind of advanced interface for computer uses, and it Provides various kinds of realistic interative means of real-time senses such as vision, hearing, feeling touch and so on, which facitlitates user's operation, reduce user's burden, and improves the efficiency of the whole system as much as possible. In this paper when virtual reality technology is applied to Vehicle Driving Simulator to produce scene, acoustics and sport emulation, operators will immerse in the virtual environment of driving, as if driving a real car. By the virtual vision, hearing, touch feeling obtained in the driving environment, users can conceive driving actions, experience and study how to drive in the real world. Obviously, it has lots of advantages, which are low-costs, safety, effect for time, climate, field, and effective and the training period decrease, and so on.Visual simulation system is a important part of vehicle driving training simulator. It is mainly used for building the ample scene of dynamic traffic. Its realism Interactivity, Immersion and Imagination are the key performance indicators of Vehicle driving training simulator.In this paper, in light of actual conditions and needs, we use MultiGen Creator and Vega as software platform to develop vehicle driving simultor visual system and study its model and software building. Meanwhile we discuss the instance, external, texture mapping, freedom, the level of details and billboards technology of model building in detail. The overall performance of visual system has been enhanced significantly to achieve the requirements of real-time rendering. We In-depth study multi-channel display, vehicle movement and collision dection in visual system building. We solve the issues of multiple graphics interface, real-time system and realism immersion of visual system of vehicle driving simulator. Finally, we finish the software of visula system of vehicle driving simulator basing on these researches. Then we introduce the ODE kinetic engine, use ODE more rigid link mechanism to achieve vehicle modle that has a certain physical characteristics based on the simplified vehicle dynamic model. Finally we give a specific method using corresponding mainly channel in Quest3D.
