Research On Virtual Test Field Of Vehicle Based On MultiGen Creator

Visual simulation is also known as virtual reality,it is the fastest-growing part of the computer simulation technology in recent years.It build virtual environment which is similar to the reality through the establishment of visual, auditory and tactile three-in-one with virtual 3D model.Users feel as if been placed in the real environment.At present, the visual simulation technology has been widely used in many areas such as environmental planning, simulation training, military exercises,flight simulation and interactive entertainment simulation.In this paper, virtual reality technology is applied to the vehicle road test, and the simulation of the vehicle virtual test field is studied. Multi Gen Creator was selected as the modeling tool, design parameters and layout of the integrated virtual test field, Use a variety of technical methods to solve fidelity and real-time of simulation test, build a complete virtual test field and vehicle model, using Vega Prime the system of parameter configuration complete vehicle simulation driving to verify the feasibility of the system.The function,structure,main facilities of the test field were analyzed, combined with the difficulty of model, design reasonable test field parameters, and rational planning the layout of the virtual proving ground,ensuring the premise of efficiency test and improve land utilization.Design appropriate solutions to solve the difficult problems encountered in modeling process, improve the model fidelity and reduce memory occupancy model database, better meet the simulation driven real-time and fidelity requirements. Design the driving interface of the vehicle to make the experience of visual perception more real.Using Lynx-prime visual editor to configurate the virtual vehicle model and test environment, from several viewpoint to observe the vehicle motion state and integrate them in a window. Add collision detector between the test vehicle and the environment,make the vehicle can drive normally in the field, accomplish driving simulation.
