Tradition, Context And Genius Of The Place

This article will explain and illustrate Tradition, Context and Genius of the place by XuanMiao Hill&BaoPu Garden landscape project in GuangDe county of AnHui province. Here, Tradition mainly means Taoist culture; Context includes historical and cultural inheritance, special continuity and evolvements of nature; Genius of the place is "Consult the Genius of the All"(Tom Turner) and ecological design with nature. In this project, the theory of sustainable development, ecological design and Chinese classical gardens is regarded as the guidance in order to construct harmonious landscape with benefits.
