As the UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) plays a more and more important role in national defense and civil life, its performance and design method have been enchancing. In order to improve the control performance of UAV, the design of a small UAV control computer based on DSP (digital signal processor) is proposed and implemented.With the extension of the multiplex parallel A/D, D/A, UART interfaces, the control computer system based on the DSP chip TMS320LF2407A has abundant hardware interface resources. A complex programmable logic device (CPLD) is used to accomplish the chip-selection and interrupt-control for external extension circuits.The hardware and software design of the system have been investigated and studied. Firstly, we introduce the DSP chip and system. Then it introduces the hardware design and the hardware type selection and the interface design. At last we describe the software design, including software design of CPLD and software design of DSP. Moreover, it describes some practical anti-interference measures.Experiments have testified that the designed system is reasonable and efficient. It performs the great real-time capability and meets the demand of the required reliability, and improves the control capability of the flight control computer.
