Female urinary incontinence has become one of the five chronic diseases, which poseominous threat to women's health. Its cost has exceeded galactophore tumor, osteoporosis andhypochondria, etc. Nowadays, with the development of medicine, this problem has attachedmore and more importance of the medical community home and abroad. Thereinto, physicaltherapy is a hot spot.This dissertation describes the design of an UI therapeutic apparatus, which consists of theEMG preamplifier, the electric stimulate circuit, the relay circuit, voice circuit,the LCD displaymodule and PC software analyzing system, providing with biofeedback and electric stimulatingmode.Thereinto, the single chip computer C8051F020 is the core of the system controlling.It canprovide immediate, accurate, high resolution display of EMG waveforms and settings of themain EMG therapeutic parameters. The apparatus can also transmit the collected EMG signal tothe personal computer via the RS232 interface. Then according to our demand to store, displayand analyze the waveforms of the patients. Through these we can do the doctors and patients afavor to diagnosis and request.Through sufficient research of the character and therapeutic approaches of female urinaryincontinence, we choose biofeedback and electric stimulating therapy as our treating mode. First,since the signal is very feeble, so we designed a kind of high performance amplifier; and for theneed of the power supply of the output system, we designed an eximious boost circuit. Then, wemade out an entire description about the hardware compositions and processing circuits of EMGacquisition system and the software design. The hardware functions are controlled by the MCUprogram. Via the communication between MCU and PC, we can use PC to process the collecteddata. Hereinto, the PC program uses the c++ builder to establish an EMG signal process andanalysis system, which completes the functions of real-time display, analysis and storage of thesignal.Finally, through the debugging of hardware circuits and software programming, we foundthe function parameters setting of the design can achieve our advance demand.
