Study On Waterfront Public Openspace

From the ancient times, so far, water is the important element for human being existing, and human being has the born-with hydrophily. The public open space of the waterfront is not only the image window of the city,but also the most popular space of a whole city.Because of the special natural environment,Chongqing has it's own riverfront history and culture,and the development of the whole city is linked with the space of riverfront. With the fact that the economic growth during the past 10 years and city construction course are accelerated,the Chongqing public open space of riverfront environment problem is outstanding gradually , common opening to the outside world of Chongqing public open space of riverfront is confronted with the unknown opportunity and challenge which has never accured. The main body of thethesis,starts with introduction of Chongqing public open space of riverfront,and apllys with the basic theory of city plan,landscape and landscape ecology to analysis and solve the problems in Chongqing public open space .The thesis divides four chapters.First is an introduction , then is concept and implication , analyse of problem cause , design procedures and the advice of problem solving.First, the thesis tells the development of the openspace of waterfront all over the world.Second,the thesis analyse the general situation of Chongqing public open space of riverfront.Third,the thesis analyse the problems in Chongqing public open space of riverfront .Fourth,the thesis tells theway to solve all the problems in Chongqing public open space of riverfront .The most important chapters are chapter three and four,respectively analyse the problems and the way to solve them.Chapter three mainly talk about the problems and the reason for all the problems and chapter four firstly talks about the principles for all the waterfront areas ,then suggests some special principles for Chongqing public open space of riverfront,and gives some advices on how to solve the problems in Chongqing public open space of riverfront.At the end of the thesis , there is a conclusion about the article .
