In recent years, with the rapid development of the computer technology, information technology has been more and more widely applied in the construction industry than before, especially, in the field of construction management. China has got plenty of achievements by the way of absorbing the concept, theory and method of organization of construction project management from the developed nations in latest 20 years. But, compared with the developed nations in information management, the weakest part, there is a huge gap between China and other developed nations. Up to now, most of owners or construction companies are so behindhand in the field of information management, and still keep using traditional methods and types. It is the trend that to turn the information management from traditional methods into the method based on the information management platform of internet. By doing so, we can make information of resource work well and information control the objectives of projects.This paper uses the latest domestic or foreign information technology, the theories of improvement of management and the achievements of relative information technology applied in the construction industry. According to the actual situation of construction industry of china, it studies the new method and style of construction management field in 21st century, so let thoughts, organization, methods and ways of construction management of china fit the requirements of the knowledge-economy age.The adoption of a comprehensive analysis of the application of information technology in the construction field, mastered the characteristics and trends of the application of information technology in the construction field, construction process information management platform will be an important way to use of information technology to transform the traditional construction industry. Through comparing various engineering modelling methods, I choose IDEF0v, a improved method of modelling, base on IDEF0. This method aims at the particularity requirement of construction process and achieves functional and information's integration. Basing on the feature of construction process, this paper analyzing the construction process in layers and establishing normal information flow simulation model of civil building by IDEF0v. Finally, using matrix structure optimization technology to optimize the construction information extracted from the information flow models.This paper depends on the example building project, the technology and example of low energy consumption building for little town, the second sub-issue of the important technology project for little town construction of ChongQing. By optimizing construction process to get the optimized process, reduce the circle of construction activities, improve the efficiency of construction.
