In order to respond rapidly to the varying manufacture requirements of material facility, the manufacturing system should be able to be reconfigured. And this thesis has researched deeply into the reconfigurability of the manufacture equipments, including module identifying, module reconfiguration, reconfigurability evaluation and reconfiguration behavior analysis, which are as follows:⑴The requirements of Rapid Response are analyzed and the significance of Modular Manufacturing is stated. Furthermore, key technologies of Modular Manufacturing are brought in, while an overall scheme of Modular Manufacturing oriented to Rapid Response is presented.⑵To partition modules of manufacture equipments, the module identifying method based on function-behavior-conceptual structure is brought in, and the matter-element models are built to describe the module and module family.⑶Using QFD method, Customer Requirements are mapped to Technique Requirements, based on which an expectation matter-element model is built. What's more, the reconfiguration algorithm based on module is presented.⑷To evaluate module reconfigurability, the evaluating indicators considering cost and performance are put forward. Also the weighing analysis method based on information entropy is introduced (in) to build the algorithm for evaluating reconfigurability of manufacture equipments;⑸The M-B fractal model of joint surfaces between modules is built to analyze the juxtaposition metamorphosis. Then the influence on roughness and stiffness of joint surfaces, considering the reciprocating wear during module reconfiguration, are analyzed.⑹Based on above research findings, a prototype software system supporting module manufacturing is designed and developed, with the preliminary application is displayed.
