Research On Radiation Protection Of Marine Nuclear Power Plant

The research began with radiation protection of marine nuclear power plant, expatiated the history of radiation protection firstly, then the basic conception and some other academic knowledge of radiation protection. Using a small marine nuclear reactor for foundation, expatia ted the shield system of this reactor, then set up a design former relevant to it, did some calculates on the shield of radiation protection.Because of conditional restriction, this research didn't start experiment the research of the second aspect, but only the first aspect. Some research to realize the characteristic of shielding material and the attenuation of neutron and gamma rays; and also did basic accounts for the reactor radiation protection.The research proves that neutron and one time gamma rays have little thing to do with the reactor radioprotection, and the two times gamma rays has an important specific gravity on the dose rate. The shielding material can be material shields etc.
