Due to the fire detectors used in nuclear power plants can't meet the nuclear power plant radiation dose requirements,resulted in the fire detectors operate with safety risks,while increasing the risk of operation and maintenance personnel to receive radiation doses.Also the use of nuclear power plant fire detectors are imported equipment,the supply and service schedule can't meet demands.In order to achieve Radiation-resistant fire detectors,while achieving localization of nuclear fire detectors,this paper conducted the design and study of Radiation-resistant fire detectors.By taking part choose radiation resistance,design of lead shielding radiation protection,radiation qualification test,the design and test results combined with other methods to achieve the design scheme gradually optimized,Finally completed the Radiation-resistant fire detectors.The Radiation-resistant fire detector is 2.5-6.5 times better than the current fire detectors used in nuclear power plants in Radiation-resistant,and it can meet the radiation requirements of 18-month refueling cycle of nuclear power plants,reached the international advanced level.While it greatly reduced the equipment running risk of,eliminated the associated security risks,avoided the possibility of accepting radiation dose,reduced the maintenance workload.
