A Design Of Smart Home Controller

The Smart Home industry has obtained a great deal achievement in China. Home appliance manufactures and governmental organizations take this advantage to make the platform for the standardizing of this industry. For its promising future and research value, the establishment of an effective, low-cost, practical and usability system has become one of the hot topics in present situation.As a system which could run independent of local area network, Smart Home Controller has integrated with Safe Automation System, Communication Automation System and Management Automation System. To meet the demand of user, guide and promotion life quality, Smart Home could bring great facility to people's life. This paper is mainly discussed the design and primary realization of Smart Home Controller.The controller is based on Virgine G2, one 32-bit multimedia chip. Extended circuit for realize switch and overlap multi-video input and output, utilize TV set as home entertainment and control center. RS232 interface is designed to connect PC, easy to realize program upgrade. Wire and wireless home network has designed, automatic meter reading system is accessed by CAN bus, sixteen alarm check input and appliance control command send by amateur frequency band(315MHz). The problem of internal and external information interaction is resolved by the design of Ethernet network. For give a convenient way to deal with house information, phone module is embedded. It's integrated with USB function which could provide two downstream ports and one upstream port. System structure chart and correlation module schematic circuit diagram is provided.Software development is based on EISC STUDIO, portingμC/OS-Ⅱas system embedded OS, related middleware is compiled and transplanted, crucial flow diagram is provided.Smart home produce has a wide market prospect, and accorded with county's industrial development strategy. This design is easy for system extended and upgraded. Set-top-box design has convenient to be fixed. The system has high ratio performance-to-price, suitable for Chinese home.
