| In the paper, there are two parts. One is the system scheme and planning. The other is the designing and realizing of the parts of the system. At first, the techniques about non-attended substation automation and SCADA are probed into the current status and the future trend. A number of practical systems about multimedia dispatching of power network &4~ discussed, these systems are remote video supervisory control. According to the typical systems, a new generation of dispatching automation system? ? multimedia dispatching automation system, the scheme of new system is designed and some key technologies are discussed, such as H. 32x, MCU, and video supervisory control based on the H. 323.
