Studies On Energy-saving Design Of Office Building In Hohhot

This thesis is the basic research on energy-saving design of office building in Hohhot. Based on local climate characteristics and current situation of office building, The writer points out possible ideas and methods of energy-saving design.The building energy efficiency concerns many technical aspects. In the exploration and research of various architectural energy efficiency ways, developing new type of building material, studying the new structure, adopting new technology and new energy have come to close attention, but during the initial stage of architectural design (the stage of building composition), the ways of energy efficiency are ignored, many architects even consider building energy efficiency as just to take measures on construction material and structure. However, we are concerned to whether the ways of the energy efficiency during the period of building composition are correct and any measures are proper to put in use, both the two sides above are the key to energy conservation.One of the limited factors in building design is climate conditions which will affect each aspects of building such as layout, exposed to the sun, the form of elevation, detailed structure landscape, etc. What's more, climate condition is the crisis factor in building's energy-consumption control. That's the reason the writer focus on the analysis of local climate information, which will submit the reference to energy-saving design of office building, at the very beginning of the thesis.This paper focuses on the site selection, figure type design, and enclosure structure during the stage of architecture composition. Through the analysis of the relationship between buildings and environment, the paper expounds the relation between building energy consumption and climate, then sum up and expound the principle of the architectural design with climate on the basis of the achievements in research on the characteristic of Hohhot and climate subarea.
