Landscape Design And Plane Constitution

For more than 100 years, constitution as one of the modern art foundations, being a part of human culture has far reaching influence on almost every aspect of modern society, including landscape architecture. Based on analysis of the related documents this paper explores original relationship between garden and geometric art, and puts forward that constitution rules is one kind of abstract order, and plane constitution is the basis of the other correlation literature. An emphasis is on analysis of abstract relation between landscape design and point, line and plane in plane constitution. The paper puts forward that many of the landscape design works are linked with plane constitution such as grouping-repetition constitution, de-constitution, level & spatial constitution, balance-contrast constitution, order constitution, connection and imagination constitution, texture constitution. And application of all these constitutions in landscape design is examined.
