Study & Implementation Of Assembly Process Integration System Based On BOM

With the improvement of CAPP, however, contrary to the computer aided manufacturing process system, the research of computer aided assembly process system is very limited. On the one hand, the standard theory of assembly process design and information management can't meet with the need of application indeed. On the other hand, it is difficult for assembly process system to integrate seamlessly with CAD/PDM and handle the BOM data-interchange with MRPII/ERP.In this paper, the thesis that the practice and development of automotive assembly process system is discussed, and also, some advanced theories in the computer software engineering, the evolvement of BOM in the product life cycle and process planning & data management in the assembly field are deeply focused on. Thus, some achievements as following are obtained.Firstly, from the pointview of the evolvement of BOM, the integration of assembly process system with other application software system is seriously paid much attention. Also, according to the process of BOM's evolvement, the implementation methods and system modeling thought of integrated assembly process system based on BOM are provided.Secondly, based on the description of BOM's importance in the phase of process planning, the thought of oriented-BOM assembly process design and the model as well as the course of system software development are explained accurately and compactly.At last, some creative items in the research field are deeply reviewed, moreover, it is concluded that personal pointview about the promising future of this field is provided roughly in the dissertation.
