Advanced Product design and manufacturing process are two powerful wings of machine manufacturing enterprises. Currently, China is becoming the world's manufacturing center. The label of "Made in China" has covered all corners of the world. The Objective analysis shows that during the process of China's participation into the world competition our superiority mainly concentrates in two aspects of cost (c) and quality (q), our inferiority manifests in the time (t) of new product going on the market.Product quality is enhanced during the past two decades of reform and opening. Because of low cost of raw materials and labor, we have the advantage of price, but our goods are low value-added products, lack of innovation, and lack of advanced technology, these can be summed up in this simple model: c+q+t model, which waste of resources and labor, aggravate pollution.Everyone knows that the ideal model of development should be t+q+c model, and enhancing efficiency is the key of the technological content of products. Our goal is to reduce the preparation time for technology products, and to improve the quality and reduce the cost of production.Therefore, in order to expedite the transformation of c+q+t to t+q+c China's machinery industry in general to implement CAPP is a task of top priority. This paper presents a general scheme for a relatively reasonable CAPP system design, database design and modeling technology Based on standardization and group technology,In this paper CAPP system designed can provide database interface for Configuration Management System of the financial and other business database purposes. And this system also provides database interface for integration of enterprises data and CAD, CAM, PDM based on database technology.
