A Study About Medical Treatment Area Design Mode In Hospital Buildings

With a fast development of medical treatment science and technology and our society, the modern medicine has been changing from bio-experiment mode to physiology-psychology-social medicine mode, i.e., from single physiological treatment to polynary treatment, including social prevention and cure. However, it results necessarily in many changes and developments closely related to the hospital buildings.Our medical resource is now coming into an integrated development period coupling with the reformation of medical and health care systems and medical service marketing. The hospitals of all levels are now built up in a large scale, so a new design wave has come to the construction industry. However, it cannot meet the market demand because there are only a few construction design institutes in China and because there are not a large professional design team for hospital buildings. Since many hospitals are designed by unprofessional, we can see more and more problems, such as unreasonable insulation between cleaned and polluted areas, exchanges among people streams, investment loss, etc. Moreover, many hospital designers are high on some tendencies, such as"leading",""hotel","park", etc. If so, it is possible for many designers to lose their ways in the current streams without any scientific bases.Since Sanitation Building Design & Research Institute under Shandong Construction & Research Institute majors in professional design of hospital buildings, I, as one of employees of it, get to know the above-mentioned points of view, analyze the special demands of the hospital buildings and master the design modes of the modern hospital buildings so as to catch up with our time's development. So I collected more materials, analyzed the relations among many departments of a hospital, studied the current state and development trend of our hospitals, made a good use of the advanced designs and methods as reference so as to create a design mode suitable for our hospital buildings and to provide some references in the relative construction designers.
