Analyzed the actual state of the companies producing air filter in our country and foreign country, we find the deficiency of the testing of the homemade air filters.The automatic of HEPA testing in foreign country is higher than that in our country. Our purpose is to research and empolder a set of auto-testing system to test HEPA with roboticized equipment such as step motor, which can simplify the operating, shorten the testing period, heighten the testing precision, reduce the cost for air filter firms and improve the efficiency of HEPA testing.It is a system that uses the computer as the primary processing unit including data collection system and analyse-control system. The degree of its automatization is very high. In the part of the hard ware, we use precise convertor, signal converting circuit, IAS BUS structure data collecting circuit board, automatic equipment such as step motor as the main components to collect the data and to control the system. The problem of testing precision and low automaticity in the old air filter testing system has been solved. In the part of the soft ware, this system is based on the windows operating system and compiled by the popular computer language-Visual Basic, which make the operating face very friendly and is very easy to be learned and manipulated or developed. The data collection and automatic control system of computer have been introduced, which replaced the traditional manual operation, and realized the automatization of the filter-testing system, making the test more facilitated and the results more reliable.Through the study of this thesis, the filter-testing system based on the data collection and automatic control system of computer has been completed. By testing, both the system and the testing results meet the filter test requirements as well as improve the efficiency of testing. The accomplishment of this testing system furnishes a set of facilitative instrument for the filter companies of our country. This thesis has some guiding meaning to the design and manufacture of the newly-built filter-testing system.
