With the ever-increasing development of our country's economy, the demands for high-speed freight car in railway transport will increase rapidly. Faced with the demands for high-speed freight car, it is necessary to further develop speed-increasing wagons. China government had take into consideration research and development of the speed-increasing wagons. The technological level of the speed-increasing wagon bogie has constantly improved. According to the domestic policy of"heavy load, high speed, security", the bogie design to be perfected and improved is prospected Bogie regarded as a key part in rolling stock is acted on important function in brake rigging system. The differences between the domestic and foreign freight car bogies are analyzed and compared. Several typical bogies structure and performance for high-speed freight car are compared. With the combination of the need of railway transport development, the development trend of the high-speed freight car bogies and the suggestions for new design of the high-speed freight car bogie is put forward.The main structure features of the high-speed freight car bogie in our country are described, the simulation analysis of the performance of the bogie is carried out, and the technical parameters of the bogie structure are researched. The reliability optimization design method of the bogie for high-speed freight car is given. The characteristics of 160Km/h freight car bogie design as follows:Integrate-welded structure, the primary suspension mounted with metal-liquid compound spring, force both centre plate and side bearing provides the loading; in contact with the resilient side bearing with two-stage rigidity non-longitudinal gap is adopted; bogie brake rigging system using disc-braking, is equipped with adjusting device and anti-skid in empty and load .Bogie parts & components (structure, journal suspension device, loading method, wheel set etc.) including braking distance, Geometric diagram of curvature negotiated, side bearing rigidity are calculated and discussed; the static strength, fatigue strength and low-class simulation are analyzed by the ANSYS analytical software; the results of calculation show that the design of high-speed freight car bogie are reasonable and can meet the requirements of relevant standards.
