A Study On The Preparation Comparison Of Modern City Planning And Urban Design And Its Implementation Control In China

The domains of city planning and urban design are very broad. The dissertation mainly pay attention to preparation and implementation control of city planning and urban design after 1980's in China.The dissertation set out on the point that city planning and urban design in China are the instruments to control development and construction of city. And base on this point, the dissertation analyses and summarize the characteristics of city planning and urban design on concepts, connotation, appearance, acted objects etc. Firstly, the dissertation compares similarities and differences between city planning and urban design on aspects of technical factor and system factor when they act on controlling the urban construction. Then the dissertation compares similarities and differences between city planning and urban design on aspects of preparing contents at phases of comprehensive planning, sub- comprehensive planning and detailed planning. Base on the compares, the dissertation probes into the ways to integrate city planning and urban design. Discuss how to ensure controlling on implementing from legal mechanism, administrative mechanism and economical mechanism. At last, the thesis states some experiences and lessons on city planning and urban design by cases study and gets some helpful inspirations.The dissertation is about 60,000 Chinese words and with 39 illustrations.
